Membership of the End Child Detention Coalition is open to all organisations that are willing to commit to achieving the objectives of the End Child Detention Coalition, to having their organisation publicly associated with the actions of our coalition and who are willing to contribute to the coordinated activities of the campaign.
While there is no formal membership fee required, organisations are asked to support a designated member of staff to donate 1 hours of their time per month to attend an online member meeting, and around 1-2 hours per month towards the action items discussed during the meeting.
All members are required to provide, to the best of their ability, an annual estimate of the number of supporters that their organisation has, via a postcode, in order to enable the coalition to effectively map its networks.
All members are able to represent the End Child Detention Coalition in meetings, events and other forums that are appropriate for sharing the knowledge and insight of the network.
Affiliate members are those organisations who wish to support the work of the End Child Detention Coalition by having their organisation publicly associated with the End Child Detention Coalition and participating, when possible, in the activities organised by the End Child Detention Coalition and encouraging their networks to do so.
Affiliate members will be included in regular communications and will be asked to provide, to the best of their ability, an annual estimate of the number of supporters that their organisation has, via a postcode, in order to enable the End Child Detention Coalition to effectively map its networks.
